Business conditions worsen in Missouri, Kansas, index reports - St. Louis Business Journal:

The aircraft and parts manufacturint industry will be the turnaround industrhy for Kansas and will provide an earlg signal of the beginning of aneconomidc expansion.” The Mid-America Business Conditions Indexc was 34.6 in February, up from 33.5 in January and down from 49.5 in Februaruy 2008.
